Cool song

Dunno if I'm gonna listen to this the next time I trip DXM, but pretty decent song :D

Ace75 responds:

yes i just couldnt find a name lol

Meh

the music is good, and you have good ideas, but the production/drum programming/guitar is lacking on a huge level. But granted, you are probably one of the best keyboardists on NG. So kudos to you on that one.

That was all I needed to hear :)

If I had an actual guitarist and drummer around at the time, I would of let them play the drum and guitar parts instead of writing them on the computer. I had very limited resources at the time.

Fixing the distortion problem

In the master just turn down the mids and highs a bit, and or put a high pass filter on it.

The song was pretty cool, just adjust the volume level lol.

SouleMan86 responds:

Thanks alot man.

Cool

Turn down the mix on the glitch when the bass is playing, Glitching sounds cool, but is definately abused lol. Then again I can't complain much considering my first song using D_Blue sounded similar. Its a fun program!

ArisingFlame responds:

Lol. Yeah. Slightly carried away, I have to admit...

Cool!

I like the bass leads and the drum patterns, I would however recommend getting some new drum samples, it sounds like you were using the fl studio samples

www.drumnbass.be

If you sign up for this forum, you can get a ton of killer sample packs to download for free, not to mention there is a FL studio sub forum that is very informative

Cheers!

MusicIsBliss responds:

wow! awesome! thanks!!!

Pretty good

Solid loop, It'd be cool with some more drum changeups.

I like the way you mixed the bass with the breakbeat, pretty killer!

BlasphemyTheory responds:

thanks!
ill without a doubt review your stuff

DAYUMMM

Excellent production! I like the classical style guitar. I also think the strings at 2:07 are awesome. Great samples!

XayberOptix responds:

Thanks for your review. If you're curious, all sounds are coming from IK Multimedia's Sample Tank and Miroslav Philharmonik (the Workstation Bundle). Expensive sound sets but well worth it!

Awesome!

Hell yeah Ron Paul!!! I love the samples man... where do you get them?

Helix6 responds:

There are numerous samples to be had all over the web... You just have to try to ensure that they fall within the public domain. I won't get started about Ron Paul - the song speaks for itself.

Kickass!

Sounds like some new school gabber shit, fucking sick! Only thing was the kick... I know it's supposed to clip but maybe not as much. Overall kickass song!

Dj-Fanta5t1c responds:

hahaha YES i love when i hear that the kick is overpowering! thanks for fucking headbainging to this shit man. keep it real =P

Kickass!

On the contrary to Grimm Methods, I think that the pads and synths contribute and attest to the title of the song. Very atmospheric and definately a 5/5 10/10. I think you achieved exactly what you set out to do with this song.

Cheers!

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Thanks a lot, I am glad someone else regonized this song. It was my first and I think so far my best in this certain category. (Og course I am doing much better now) I am glad you liked it. =)
